A group of players from the Rovers men’s teams swapped Munich for the Netherlands last weekend, heading to Amsterdam for an unforgettable football tournament. The trip offered far more than just action on the pitch – it gave the boys a chance to represent the club in a new setting, share plenty of laughs, and make memories as a team.

For the first time since their founding in 2008, the Munich Irish Rovers FC Ladies' team are league champions. After a season full of belief, commitment and brilliant team spirit, the girls sealed the Frauen A-Klasse title with a 4-1 win away at SpVgg Höhenkirchen on the final day – a result that also secured promotion to the Kreisklasse.

On 14th November 2024, Munich Irish Rovers Football Club e.V. held its annual general members' meeting. With the two-year board term completed, a new board was elected by the 57 members in attendance at München Billard & Bowling Paradies in Giesing.
On Sunday, 17th March, Munich Irish Rovers FC once again took part in the annual St. Patrick's Day festivities in the Bavarian capital. The two-day celebration at Odeonsplatz, run by the Munich Irish Network, regularly draws a large crowd, with around 50,000 people said to have attended the 2024 event.

Our ladies' team recently returned from a weekend getaway to Italy, having arranged a friendly against a local side from Rovereto. After travelling to neighbouring Trento for an inaugural international friendly last spring, the Rovers were eager to head back for more football, sightseeing and, of course, an Aperol or two.
