The rovers hit the adriatic riviera!

The Rovers headed south to Cattolica (IT) for the 25th edition of the IFE Sportland Adriatica Football Cup. A top-half finish, plenty of sunshine, and unforgettable memories made for another brilliant tournament weekend!

This last June the Rovers competed against 23 teams from across Europe in the IFE Sportland Adriatica Football Cup, for a weekend of football, sunshine and team spirit. A strong group-stage campaign earned us a place in the final stage, where we finished 3rd in our group and 11th overall, a performance to be proud of!

​Away from the pitch, the team embraced everything the Adriatic coast had to offer. From beach volleyball and walks through Rimini and Riccione to fantastic food, late nights and plenty of laughs, it was another reminder that the best memories are often made between kick-offs!

​And, of course, no Rovers tour would be complete without another fake birthday celebration for Olex, complete with a cake and a Happy Birthday chorus..

​A huge thank you to the organisers for another fantastic tournament. We return to Munich with new memories, stronger friendships, and already looking forward to the next adventure.
