Match Fees
Collected at every home game:
- €3 For the starting eleven players.
- €2 For subs who get a decent run.
Rovers First
- No Irish Rover member may play against the Rovers (i.e. for another club) without the express permission of the Director of Football.
- A breach of this Rule is considered Disrespectful to the Club. Fine and/or suspension will apply.
Washing the Kit
The rules for washing the kit are:
- The Kit washing table (rolling over last 500 days) will be used for all games/tournaments.
- The kit must be washed for the next game or within one week, whichever is sooner.
- Training bibs will be washed by the goalkeepers and kitman as and when required.
A-Team, B-Team, AH-Team and Recreation Team
The Kit washing stats are used with the following exceptions:
- If a player receives a red card, then he takes the kit.
- Goalkeepers only wash their own gear
Fines and Discipline
Discretionary* Fines
If you SIGN UP, SHOW UP. At the very least let someone know you cannot make it by phone, email or post to the forum.| NO SHOWing for a match/event without notifying the respective manager | Suspension/€20 |
| Appearing late for a match/event without notifying the respective manager | €10 |
| Red card (any fine incurred by the club from the BFV will be passed on to the member also) | €20 |
Nondiscretionary Fines
Abuse directed at fellow clubmembers is not tolerated.
| Verbal Abuse at ANY official Rovers event | €5 |
| Disrespect to the Club/Teammate (e.g. excessive aggression at training) | €5 |
| Physical Abuse at ANY official Rovers event | up to €25 |
| Racial or sectarian abuse at ANY official Rovers event | up to €25 |
| Abuse directed towards a referee | up to €25 |
| Not washing the kit or arranging for it to be washed. | €20 |
Notes:
- *At the discretion of the Team Manager and/or Director of Football up to the amount specified.
- Nondiscretionary fines will be applied without exception by the Team Manager and/or Director of Football.
- Nondiscretionary offences may also result in immediate substitution and suspension.
- Fined players are not eligible for further team selection (including friendlies) until fines have been paid in full to the Treasurer.
- These fines may be revised at any time by the Football Director.
